No entry fee for U17 practice games of Brazil, England, New Zealand in Mumbai

The gates will be open for the two practice matches involving the Under-17 national teams of Brazil,
England and New Zealand at the Mumbai Football Arena in Andheri.

Dinesh Nair, Trustee, Mumbai Football Arena said, “We will not be charging any entry fee to the football enthusiast from the city as we want to give them an opportunity to watch the future stars live in action.”

“This will also help in the build-up to the mega event and we, at the Mumbai Football Arena, are proud to play host to these practice games. The Brazilian and England teams are some of the strong contenders and football fans can come and enjoy watching the games free of cost,” Nair added.

The three teams will be playing the practice games as their final tune-up for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be hosted in India from October 6 to 28.

Three-time champions, Brazil, is scheduled to play against New Zealand on September 28 at 5 pm IST and England is scheduled to play against New Zealand on October 1 at 5 pm.

Brazil is also expected to play another practice game against a local club, either Indian Navy or Air India from Mumbai or Pune City FC on September 30, but nothing is finalised yet, a media release said.
