Students of classes 6 to 9 can join this quiz contest that will unfold at Chennai’s Amma Maligai Auditorium on September 5, 7 and 8. Hosted by the Greater Chennai Corporation, it’s part of Madras Month Celebrations.

Registration: Sign up on this form in teams of two by September 3.

Kaikuu Quiz Festival

Active since 1972, India’s oldest quiz club K-Circle is holding a trivia festival on October 8 and 9. They’re on this list as early registrations are encouraged. Sign up in teams of up to three on this form before October 5. The contest schedule is below.

Not-A-Mediquiz

“No MBBS? No problem!” claims JIPMER Pondicherry about their medical quiz contest for September 3. Humanities kids may find this absolute hogwash, but with Major Chandrakant Nair as QM, there’s bound to be ‘workoutable’ questions. The event starts at 9am at the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium. Silchar Quiz Fest (SQF)

Billed as ‘the biggest quiz fest of Northeast India’, SQF will take place from November 24-26. Nine quizzes on varied topics have been planned. Early registrations are encouraged as it’s their first edition. To RSVP, contact 7002139471 (Shubhamoy Chanda).

FLAMES Quiz League

Six weeks of online quizzing awaits at FLAMES Season 3. Divided into India and International leagues, this solo quiz contest is themed on food, fashion, lifestyle, literature, entertainment, movies, music, art and sports. Play weekly to make new friends and climb the leaderboard. The games begin from Monday, August 28.

TCS InQuizitive 2023

Designed for high schoolers, this quiz will have three online rounds (Mock Prelims, Prelims, Quarters) and a Semis-Finale in Mumbai. You’ll be tested on tech trends, with questions across science, sports, engineering, history, math and art. Winners will get trophies, certificates and exciting goodies.

Registration: Sign up solo here by Sunday, August 27. Students from classes 8-12 are eligible.

Inter-City Quizzing Challenge, Madhya Pradesh

Season 2 of NIT Bhopal’s inter-school quiz is back for students in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, and Ujjain. The prelim (Round 1) is slated for August 27, featuring 30 MCQs and a crossword with 10 clues. The top four from each school will form teams for Rounds 2 and 3. Cash prizes of Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000 are in store for the winner and runner-up.

Namma Madras Quiz

August 22 is Madras Day, marking the founding of Madras city (Chennai) in 1639. To celebrate, MOP Vaishnav College is hosting a heritage quiz contest on Saturday, August 26. Get there bright and early, as the quiz begins from 9.30am.

Udghosh National Open School Quiz

As part of its annual sports fest, IIT Kanpur is organising the Udghosh National Open School Quiz (UNOSQ) for students from classes 5 to 12. Split into two phases, this quiz contest will test students’ logic skills, problem-solving abilities, GK and sports chops. The Top 100 from Phase 1 (held on August 27) will move onto Phase 2 (September 3).

DomainIQ IT Quiz

VJTI Mumbai is hosting a national quiz contest on App Development, Web Development, ML/AI, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity. Slated for August 27 from 5.30pm, it will push quizzers to answer 50 MCQs in an hour. Winners will bag deluxe hampers and certificates.

Registration: Sign up solo here by August 26 (11.59pm). Students pursuing BTech, B.E, B.Sc, or similar/equivalent degrees are eligible.
