She said Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for projects worth nearly Rs 600 crore are expected to be signed at the event.
“The theme of this year’s conclave is ‘Destination Tripura, Land of Opportunities’. Nearly 100 investors from across the country are expected to take part in the conclave,” the minister told reporters.
“A business-friendly environment with power surplus, good connectivity, single-window system… would be offered by the state. The investors would benefit from different incentives including financial support and tax holidays,” Chakma added.
She also laid stress on the state government’s promise to make the state self-reliant through industrialisation.
Chief Minister Manik Saha will participate in the conclave on Saturday.
Earlier in 2023, Tripura inked eight MoUs (MoU) with investment proposals worth Rs 312.38 crore at the one-day North-East Global Investors Summit.
