Vedanta’s Priya Agarwal Hebbar among 5 Indians part of WEF’s Young Global Leaders Class of 2024

The WEF had on Thursday announced the addition of 90 changemakers to its Young Global Leaders Community, all under 40 years old and representing diverse sectors of society.

Vedanta Ltd Non-Executive Director Priya Agarwal Hebbar is among the five Indians who have been recognised as part of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders Community: The Class of 2024.

The WEF had on Thursday announced the addition of 90 changemakers to its Young Global Leaders Community, all under 40 years old and representing diverse sectors of society. The group consists of individuals from various fields who are shaping the future and accelerating positive change through their groundbreaking work.

In a post on social media platform X, Priya Agarwal expressed her gratitude and delight for being recognized as part of the prestigious group. “Looking forward to learn and collaborate with young change-makers from across the globe who are shaping the future through positive social impact,” she said.

Priya has made a name for herself and for women in the male-dominated mining and natural resources sector in the recent years.

Besides Priya, the list includes actor Bhumi Pedneka; Adwaita Nayar, CEO of Nykaa Fashion; Arjun Bhartia, Director at Jubilant Group; and Sharad Vivek Sagar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dexterity Global.
