Shane Warne8217;s bowling coach Terry Jenner is concerned that Australia8217;s strategy of giving exposure to young spin bowlers in the four-Test series against India later this year might boomerang.

Jenner is worried that it may dent the youngsters8217; confidence and may slow down their progress as they will struggle on Indian pitches.

8220;Every time we take young spinners away to the sub-continent they come back as medium pacers,8221; Jenner told The Daily Telegraph.

8220;Indian pitches and to some degree Pakistani pitches play low therefore they quicken the pace and bowl more wicket to wicket. It8217;s a concern for me to take a young spinner there. Warney was lucky, he went to Sri Lanka on his first overseas tour instead of going to say India,8221; he added.

Jenner, however, gave thumps up to Beau Casson and South Australia8217;s Dan Cullen to head to the sub-continent.
