
LONDON, April 28: Chris Silverwood boosted his England claims with a match haul of nine for 80 as Yorkshire moved to the top of the County Championship table with an 111-run win over Derbyshire at Headingley. Silverwood, who was left to kick his heels for much of England8217;s winter tour of the West Indies, took four for 13 in Derbyshire8217;s second innings 210 yesterday.
Yorkshire, who have not won the championship for 30 years, were always in control after the third wicket stand of 110 between Adam Rollins 63 and Kim Barnett 68 had been broken. Yorkshire are the only county to win their first two games
