Yellow Fever

Winter is on its way out. And what better colour to ring in spring than yellow? Designers Shantanu Nikhil recommend yellow summery wear like wraparounds and short dresses. 8220;Yellow is a fresh, delicate hue and matches with the relaxed, sun-kissed resort travel that a lot of people are taking up these days,8221; says Nikhil, whose spring-summer 2008 collections showcased at the last Wills India Fashion Week, called Benaras Boulevard, was also dominated by yellow.
Don8217;t team yellow with the usual green, blue, bright red or black. Nikhil suggests using the shade with off-white or a slight tinge of orange. The colour can go with satin, silk, cotton and even khaki.
