Wellington, March 22: Bob Woolmer ended his five-year reign as coach of South Africa8217;s Test team today but believes the country is in good hands.Woolmer, the former England Test batsmen who took over the South African job after a player rebellion against Mike Procter in 1994, has turned the Proteas into one of the top two Test teams in world cricket, along with Australia.

8220;I can say modestly, I leave South African cricket in reasonable hands,8221; Woolmer said today. Skipper Hansie Cronje said he learned a lot from Woolmer. 8220;I8217;ve learnt a lot. Hopefully I8217;ve managed to pass on some of my knowledge to them,8221; Woolmer said.
