Williams in doubles final

London, July 7: The Williams sisters powered their way past Anna Kournikova and Natasha Zvereva into the women8217;s doubles final, winning 6-3 7-6.

The younger Williams finished the match with a powerful overhead to take the tie-break 7-4 on the fourth match point, under the watchful eye of father Richard. The sisters dominated throughout, twice breaking Kournikova8217;s serve but occasionally got themselves in a tangle, clashing racquets as they fought for points at the net.
