Zydus Wellness Q1 net up 10.45 pc at Rs 8.45 cr

Healthcare firm Zydus Wellness today posted 10.45 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 8.45 crore.

Healthcare firm Zydus Wellness today posted 10.45 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 8.45 crore for the quarter ended June 30,2011.

The company had a net profit of Rs 7.65 crore in the quarter ended June 30,2010,Zydus Wellness said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange BSE.

During the quarter under review,the firm had net sales of Rs 90.74 crore,a 3.9 per cent increase from Rs 87.32 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The company sells personal care brand 8216;Everyouth8217;,apart from sugar alternative 8216;Sugar Free8217; and food brand Nutralite.

Shares of Zydus Wellness closed at Rs 699.50 on the BSE,down by 2.84 per cent from the previous close.
