Pakistan8217;s Prime Minister told mourners at a Friday funeral mass for a Christian politician assassinated for opposing harsh blasphemy laws that they had a lost a great leader. Shahbaz Bhatti,the sole Christian government minister,was shot dead Wednesday .

Before anguished supporters of Bhatti,a Roman Catholic,buried him in his home village of Khushpur on Friday,mourners packed an Islamabad church in the morning to pay their respects. We will try our utmost to bring the culprits to justice, Yousuf Raza Gilani said. President Asif Ali Zardari did not attend the funeral mass.

Meanwhile,Interior Minister Rehman Malik Friday said he along with PPP leaders Sherry Rehman,who rallied against blasphemy laws,and Fauzia Wahab,former PPP spokesperson was on the top of a militant hit-list . I am under threat. Number one is me, Malik said.
