MELBOURNE: A 16-year-old autistic schoolboy has been allowed by a court in Australia to become a woman. A female judge in a Family Court has given her nod to the schoolboy,who was given the pseudonym O,to begin drug treatment to become a woman before puberty takes hold,The Daily Telegraph reported. Justice Linda Dessau said the boy was mature enough to know what he wanted. Her decision was backed by his parents.

UK seeks more donations through ATMs

LONDON: Britains government said Wednesday it is considering plans which would see the public asked to donate to good causes each time they use an ATM. Ministers confirmed they are consulting with banks on the idea,pioneered in Colombia,to allow customers to give money to charities when they withdraw cash,or check their balance.
