Witherspoon to make film on Indo-Canadian teenager
VANCOUVER: Academy-award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has teamed up with Canadian producers to make a film on the shocking murder of Reena Virk,an Indo-Canadian teenager. Witherspoons company,Type A Films,has partnered with Canadian companies Brightlight Pictures and Rhombus Media to make a film on Vrik,who was beaten and drowned in Victoria city near here in 1997,the Globe and Mail reported. Titled Under the Bridge,the film is based on the 2005 book by Rebecca Godfrey of the same name.
