Venezuelan police have arrested a man suspected of using the Twitter social networking site to incite the assassination of President Hugo Chavez.

CARACAS: Venezuelan police have arrested a man suspected of using the Twitter social networking site to incite the assassination of President Hugo Chavez. Federal Police Chief Wilmer Flores Trossel says the suspect is an employee from Venezuelas state power company and he will be questioned by prosecutors. Flores told the local Globovision television channel on Thursday that the 27-year-old man sent messages through Twitter outlining an alleged plan to kill Chavez. Flores did not provide details. Chavez has often alleged that his adversaries want to assassinate him.

Bob Marleys daughter pleads guilty to growing marijuana

Los Angeles: Music legend Bob Marleys youngest daughter Makeda Jahnesta Marley,has pleaded guilty to growing marijuana in her home. The 29-year-old admitted to having nearly a dozen large marijuana plants insider home near Philadelphia,Pennsylvania,reported TMZ online. Makeda is one of 13 children born to the Jamaican singer credited with making reggae music so popular. Marley was a known advocate of marijuana,saying it helped with spiritual enlightenment. She was arrested in 2008 after police say they found her removing plants used to make the illegal drug from the basement when officers arrived on a domestic dispute call.
