LONDON: Glamorous Russian spy Anna Chapman has insisting her marriage to a Briton was based on true love and not a sham to cover up her espionage work. The 29-year-old,who was last year deported to Russia after getting exposed as Moscows secret agent, told British tabloid The Sun that she fell in love with her husband in the UK because he looked like Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher. She has clearly denied any ulterior motives about the union, claiming that she fell in love the first time she saw her future husband.

Kiwi man saws off his finger, eats it

LONDON: In a rare act of self-cannibalism,a man in New Zealand cut off his finger with a small electric saw, cooked it with vegetables, and then ate it up for dinner,a media report said. The 28-year-old man told authorities that he was driven to the bizarre act as he was suffering from severe depression, the Daily Mail reported. Its one of the only eight documented cases of self-cannibalism in the world,in which the man planned to chop off two other fingers too,but eventually decided against it,the newspaper said. He for the first time fantasised about not only killing his assailants, but of eating them too, the Daily Mail quoted a report in the Australasian Psychiatry medical journal as saying.
