One of the first things newly appointed Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa did after taking charge was to make a dash to Rae Bareli and Amethi. Reviewing the progress of the Rail Coach Factory at Rae Bareli,the MoS made it a point to repeatedly mention that he had been asked by the UPA chairperson to take stock of the project.
