New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat Express launch: Indian Railways (IR) is set to introduce a new Amrit Bharat Express connecting West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. The train will pass through multiple cities of West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. It will further strengthen inter-state connectivity. This new train will provide affordable and high-quality service for passengers from lower and lower-middle income category.

New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat Express: Train number, Route

The New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat will operate as train number 20609, while the Tiruchirappalli-New Jalpaiguri Amrit Bharat service will run as train number 20610. The train will run via Kharagpur, Vishakhapatnam.

New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat train: Stoppages

New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat Express: Frequency, composition

The New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli-New Jalpaiguri Amrit Bharat Express will run as a weekly service. From New Jalpaiguri, train number 20609 will depart on Friday while from Tiruchirappalli, the train will depart on Wednesday. The train will be composed of 22 coaches.
