New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat Express launch: Indian Railways (IR) is set to introduce a new Amrit Bharat Express connecting West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. The train will pass through multiple cities of West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. It will further strengthen inter-state connectivity. This new train will provide affordable and high-quality service for passengers from lower and lower-middle income category.

New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat Express: Train number, Route

The New Jalpaiguri-Tiruchirappalli Amrit Bharat will operate as train number 20609, while the Tiruchirappalli-New Jalpaiguri Amrit Bharat service will run as train number 20610. The train will run via Kharagpur, Vishakhapatnam.

During its journey between New Jalpaiguri (NJP) and Tiruchirappalli, this new Amrit Bharat train will halt at 38 stations.
