Success mantra

Beautiful released on December 2 at 35 centres all over Kerala state and it is still running strong at 26 centres even in its fourth week. The film was made at a budget of 8216; 1.55 crores. While the satellite rights fetched 8216; 1.46 crores,the producers have apparently made a profit of above 8216; 1 crore till date.

Director V.K. Prakash VKP,who has earlier helmed movies like Freaky Chakra,Punaradhivasam,Mullavalliyum Thenmaavum,Three Kings,etc,is beaming with pride. He says,Beautifuls success lies in its simplicity. Everything about it is simple the story,script,songs,music and the theme. Its uniqueness and freshness have worked in its favour.

Rather than resting on his laurels,the filmmaker is busy with his next movie Karmayogi,based on William Shakespeares Hamlet,which is doing the rounds at international film festivals. Karmayogi got a good response at the International Film Festival of India IFFI and the International Film Festival of Kerala IFFK. I am planning to release it this month, he signed off.
