Expressing displeasure over the delay in taking a stand on compensation for violence-affected people in Kishtwar,the Supreme Court Monday reminded the state government that Jammu and Kashmir was part of the country,and discrimination among citizens was not permissible.
Jamp;K is part of our country. Why this discrimination? Delay on your part will give a wrong message to the others. We want to know what do you have to say on this, said a Bench of Chief Justice of India P Sathasivam and Justice Ranjana P Desai.
