A petition alleging violation of coastal regulation zone and urban ceiling laws by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khans in the construction of his palatial bungalow Mannat in Mumbai fell flat with the Supreme Court dismissing it as a publicity effort by targeting a celebrity

A petition alleging violation of coastal regulation zone and urban ceiling laws by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khans in the construction of his palatial bungalow Mannat in Mumbai fell flat with the Supreme Court on Monday dismissing it as a publicity effort by targeting a celebrity.

Simpreet Singh and Amit Maruand, both of whom are residents of Mumbai, approached the apex court challenging the Bombay High Courts order which had dismissed their petition against Khan.

Echoing the same line of thinking,a Bench of Justices DK Jain and Anil Dave asked the duos lawyer why they picked out only Khans bungalow and not the case any of the many other buildings in the same zone.
