Reddy8217;s Lab Q1 net rises 7.5 pct

Dr Reddy8217;s Laboratories Ltd,India8217;s No. 2 pharma company by sales,on Thursday reported a 7.5 percent rise in profit for the June quarter.

Net profit was at 2.44 billion rupees 52 million,up from 2.27 billion a year earlier,according to a posting on the National Stock Exchange.

It was not immediately clear if the numbers were under international accounting or Indian accounting standards.
