Reddy’s Lab Q1 net rises 7.5 pct

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd,India’s No. 2 pharma company by sales,on Thursday reported a 7.5 percent rise in profit for the June quarter.

Net profit was at 2.44 billion rupees ($52 million),up from 2.27 billion a year earlier,according to a posting on the National Stock Exchange.

It was not immediately clear if the numbers were under international accounting or Indian accounting standards.
