A Delhi court Thursday extended till April 2 the judicial custody of former telecom minister A Raja and three others,arrested for their alleged role in the 2G spectrum allocation scam.
The court extended the custody as the CBI had been granted two more days by the Supreme Court to file its first chargesheet it was earlier supposed to file it by March 31 in the case. The others whose custody was extended are former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura,Raja8217;s former personal secretary R K Chandolia and Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Usman Balwa. The four are currently lodged in Delhi8217;s Tihar Jail. Raja,Behura and Chandolia were arrested by the CBI on February 2,while Balwa was arrested on February 8.
The four were produced before the court,through video conferencing,together for the first time.
