Priyanka Chopra: Role-play

The future looks great for us actors. At least this is evident from what I am being offered today. I am fortunate that directors/writers are scripting brilliant roles for me. Take Anurag Basu’s Barfee. The role of an autistic girl (a person with impaired social interaction and communication) is extremely challenging. I also have an interesting role in Kunal Kohli’s Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Hamara Tumhara. I am hoping even five years down the line,this kind of work will continue to come our way.

As far as endorsements are concerned,I think stars endorsing brands and products is like a marriage between a star and the brand. I see the trend of stars endorsing brands gaining momentum in the future,as it adds to the brand value of a product.

Would the presence of Indian stars at an international level go up? It’s a definite yes,with India’s growing influence on the map,more and more stars will go international. Already,Indian stars have made a presence in Hollywood films. Soon,even I will be cutting an international album!
