No more films,want to be CM: Chiranjeevi

However,Chiranjeevi on Tuesday made it clear that he did not merge PRP with Congress to give up his political ambitions and go back to acting. Do I need to act as CM? People wish to see me as CM who will bring social justice and change and I will become one. As for my acting career,my fans may miss my dialogues and dances but people already see me in my son Ram Charan who has delivered several hits. I am not going back to acting. I am fully committed to politics now, Chiranjeevi,who was expected to sign up for what would have been his 150th film,said. I thought of doing one last film but I am not interested anymore. I am concentrating in politics now.

His statements were not only aimed at the Congress,which had sidelined him in the state after the merger,but also posed a challenge to YSR Congresss Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy who is staking claim as the next chief minister.

Sources in the Congress said the attitude of senior Congress leaders towards Chiranjeevi after the party merger rubbed him the wrong way. Except PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana,none of the Congress leaders bothered to talk to Chiranjeevi after the merger. They simply brushed him aside.
