Murthy may head Modis incubation ctr

In December 2009,Modi had invited Murthy to be the states advisor.

In its statement today,the state government said Modi has invited Murthy to head the incubation centre for the youth. The state government wishes the incubation centre to be a fully autonomous HRD body. If a man like Murthy guides it,talented youths will get great stimulus for carrying out their innovative experiments, the statement quoted Modi as saying.

The statement said Murthy had said he would like to take up the offer and would discuss with the state government about the kind of time he can give to the project.

Infosys is planning a research centre in Gujarat,for which it is looking for land. I have not spoken about our land requirement to the CM today. We require around 100 to 125 acres. Our senior officials will discuss the issue with state government officials, said Murthy.
