Man stops molestation,thrown out of moving train

The man was found unconscious on the tracks on Wednesday by locals,who rushed him to a nearby hospital.

A 28-YEAR-OLD man travelling by Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Malabar Express was seriously injured after he was thrown out of the train by four inebriated men when he tried to stop them from molesting a co-passenger.

The man was found unconscious on the tracks on Wednesday by locals,who rushed him to a nearby hospital. He was later shifted to Thrissur medical college hospital.

As per the victims preliminary statement,he boarded the train at Aluva to go to Kollur Mookambika temple in Mangalore. When he objected to the four men molesting a co-passenger,they left,he said. However,the four returned,beat him up and threw him out of the compartment.

Dr Balagopal,Medical Superintendent said the patients condition was stable.

A case has been registered against the unidentified men.
