Chile: Priest guilty of abusing minors

SAO PAULO: After an investigation,the Vatican found Reverend Fernando Karadima guilty of sexually abusing minors in Chile and ordered him to retire to a life of prayer and penitence, the archbishop of Santiago said Friday. The ruling said Father Karadima,80,will be relocated to a place where he will have no contact with former parishioners or persons who have been spiritually guided by him.

Somali pirates capture 4 Americans

UNITED NATIONS: Somalias UN Mission has said that pirates hijacked a yacht carrying four US citizens in the Indian Ocean off the Somali coast. Omar Jamal,first secretary at the Somali mission,identified the yacht as the S/V Quest. He said the mission is calling for the immediate release of the hostages and other captives in the hands of the pirates.
