Aging does not matter to her and Preity Zinta spent her 36th birthday having the greatest time of her life. The actress rang in her big day on January 31 at Soneva Fushi by Six Senses,Maldives.

There she spent time in the crystal clear lagoons donning her diving gear with some four of her closest friends.

Spending the mornings scuba diving in the resorts private reef,Preity was treated to specially planned meals with ingredients from the resorts organic gardens.

She said the birthday dinner was the best food she could have on her birthday as she celebrated with a special Walnut Sponge Cake. In one of her tweets,she said The Best Birthday ever ! Feeling on top of the world underwater 8230;. Ting followed by a smiley.

Getting studious
Now here is one actor who takes his work very seriously. Saif Ali Khan is taking lessons to learn the Vedas to convincingly play a lecturer from a socially backward class. This is for his role of a youth from socially backward class in Prakash Jhas Aarakshan.

The actor is also being apprised by his director on the genesis of social-economic inequality and the rise of job-reservations in India. Intense research sessions and discussions are on at least thrice a week between Jha and Saif.

The Chhote Nawab lost his muscles and is sporting a leaner look and a moustache in the film. Saif had earlier studied the Holy Quran for Kurbaan.

Missing in action
Juhi Chawla has almost taken a backseat when it comes to doing films. But she is always ready to work with Onir,with whom she had earlier done My Brother Nikhil and now she has also taken up the production of his next titled,I AM.

The film marks the comeback of the gorgeous Juhi who still manages to draw in crowds despite staying away from the silver screen for quite a while.

Recently when she was in Kolkata,her fans,who had gathered to catch her glimpse went wild on seeing Juhi Didi at Gariahat and later at Park street. Also the owner of a saree shop,Mabesa,was so excited to see Juhi along with actress Nandita Das in her shop that she gifted each of them a beautiful saree.

R Madhavan has some common and some not-so-common traits with his on-screen character Manu in Tanu Weds Manu.

While Manu is much on the lines of his real life persona shy,reticent and intelligent- his love story in Tanu Weds Manu is far removed from Maddys own love story. Madhavan and Sarita have completed 11 years of married life. Not too long ago,Madhavan also took a quick trip to London to spend time with his wife and son Vedhant.
