Krishna to visit Afghanistan

External Affairs Minister S M Krishna will be visiting Afghanistan on January 8-9.

External Affairs Minister S M Krishna will be visiting Afghanistan on January 8-9. Krishna is heading for the war-ravaged country at the invitation of his Afghan counterpart Zalmai Rassoul with whom he will be holding wide-ranging discussions.

The visit is part of the regular high-level consultations between the two governments, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Monday.
