Kailash Khers new single

A select number of questions will be answered by the maestro himself on October 1 during a live webcast of Kailash Khers performance along with his band Kailasa.

Kailash Kher,a top playback and non-film singer,has signed on with ArtistAloud.com,the countrys premier digital music destination for original,unreleased music from commercial and non-commercial artistes,to release his single celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship on the eve of the Commonwealth Games.

Composed and written by Kailash Kher along with his band mates Paresh and Naresh Kamath,the single titled Yaaron jashn manao is a chant-like number that will be made available to consumers globally to sample,buy and share via the ArtistAloud.com website and through Hungamas digital distribution network.

About the inspiration to pen down this song,Kher said,I wanted to make a contribution in my own way at a time when one-third of the world will be our guest. Our brothers and sisters from beyond a hundred boundaries are coming and joining us and we should make sure this union is one of celebration and sportsmanship and not failure and incompetence. So I decided to do what I do best and thus made the song Yaaron jashn manao,and decided to give it to the city of Delhi.

While the song has been created to celebrate and motivate participants and listeners alike,Kher adds,This song was not made to compete with fellow artistes but to join fellow musicians in motivating our sportsmen and showing our bands solidarity to them. People will be able to see my vision of celebration and our countrys glory in the lyrics of this song.
