Ex-officer held with explosives

CRPF and police arrested a Naxal conduit,a former Munger district board chairman,with over 100 kgs of explosives and petroleum jelly at Sangrampur village late on Tuesday night.

The accused,Radhe Rajak,told police that he had been working on behalf of the CPIMaoist Sangrampur area commander,Jay Paswan alias Jayda,for over a year. He said he used to supply explosives to Maoists and collect levy on their behalf.

Three cane bombs of 20 kg each,60 packets of petroleum jelly and 20 kg ammonium nitrate were recovered from Rajak.
