EdServ Q4 net profit up 86 to 11.52 cr

Education services company EdServ has reported a 86.4 per cent growth on its net profits at Rs 11.52 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31,2011.

Education services company EdServ has reported a 86.4 per cent growth on its net profits at Rs 11.52 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31,2011 Q4 result.

The Chennai-headquartered company reported net profits at Rs 6.18 crore during the same period previous year,EdServ said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

For the year ended March 31,2011,the net profits of the company jumped by 128.8 per cent to Rs 41.21 crore from Rs 18.01 crore reported during the same period of the previous year,it said.

The total revenues of the company for the fourth quarter ended March 31,2011,grew to Rs 42.15 crore from Rs 20.79 crore registered during the same period last year.

For the year ended March 31,2011,the total revenues of the company rose to Rs 122.16 crore as against Rs 52.11 crore registered during the same period of previous year.

The Board has recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per share for the financial year 2011.

8220;FY8217;11 has been a year of strong growth for EdServ. We have more than doubled both the revenues and net profit for the full year.

8220;During 2010-11,the company has expanded and strengthened its presence in all its area of operations academics,higher education support,skill development,8221; EdServ Chairman and CEO S Giridharan said.
