Shares of DB Realty fell to a 52-week low of Rs 165.25 on media report that the company has received a stop-work notice for its project in Prabhadevi,Mumbai,from the state environmental panel for starting the work without the environmental clearance. When contacted by Reuters,Shahid Balwa,managing director,confirmed the company has received the notice,and said,8221;We will comply with every direction given by government authorities.8221;
At 1:47 p.m.,the stock was down 5.58 per cent at Rs 173.30.
