Court reserves order on accuseds petition

The court hearing the 2G spectrum allocation case has reserved its order on a plea by the accused that the CBI be asked to place on record an opinion of the Ministry of Law and Justice which says that Swan Telecom was not an associate company of Reliance Telecom Ltd. Special CBI Judge O P Saini reserved his order for September 19 after hearing arguments of CBI and counsels for various accused. In its chargesheet,CBI alleged Swan Telecom was an associate firm of RTL.
