Clerics say AAP option open

Syed Ahmed Bukhari is willing to give AAP a chance provided they live up to poll promises.

Amid the outburst against Mulayam Singh Yadavs statement about Muzaffarnagar relief camps, there was emerging voice from Muslim religious leaders about Aam Aadmi Party as a likely alternative for the minority community to keep BJP out of power. The party can emerge as a viable alternative for Muslims. Our organisation is taking stock of the situation, said Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind general secretary Maulana Mahmood Madani.

Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari is willing to give AAP a chance provided they live up to poll promises. It is unfulfilled promises that disillusion people, conversely if AAP government performs,Muslims can think of supporting them, Bukhari said.
