Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Thursday said resolving every citizen’s grievance remains the government’s firm commitment, as he heard complaints from people during a Janta Darshan in Gorakhpur.

According to an official statement, Adityanath interacted with people from various districts at the Janta Darshan held at Gorakhnath Temple, directing officials to act with promptness and sensitivity to ensure justice for all, without discrimination.

At the Janta Darshan organised in the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan auditorium, the Chief Minister listened to the grievances of around 150 people. He also heard their complaints and forwarded applications to the concerned officials with clear instructions for time-bound and satisfactory resolution.

Emphasising delivery of welfare benefits, Adityanath said all eligible beneficiaries must receive support under government schemes. He also directed strict action against land grabbers and influential offenders, and asked officials to ensure swift disposal of matters related to revenue and law and order.

Responding to requests for financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses, the Chief Minister assured that no patient’s treatment would be halted due to a lack of funds. He instructed officials to promptly prepare estimates for advanced medical treatment, adding that funds would be released immediately upon submission.

Earlier in the day, Adityanath followed his routine at the Gorakhnath Temple, offering prayers to Guru Gorakhnath and paying homage to the statue of his guru, the late Mahant Avaidyanath. He also visited the cowshed, served the cows and calves, and met children who had come with their families, blessing them and distributing chocolates.
