Broadcast confusion

So whats keeping our top babus busy in the Information and Broacasting Ministry,Doordarshan,the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry and the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariats? The matter of reporting from Parliament. Apparently,DD,which has full-fledged facilities on Parliament premises,was barred from reporting live this week from inside the premises. This is an outcome of the turf war between DD and private news channels,which have to go to the Vijay Chowk lawns for broadcasting live. As soon as the orders were issued barring DD,the channels head called up the Prasar Bharati CEO,who then called up Iamp;B Minister Ambika Soni,who further called up Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal,and the matter is now going to reach the Speakers doors. The last word hasnt been heard yet on the issue.
