Pak refuses to hand over ex-ISI chief to Bosnia tribunal: Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has refused to hand over Lt Gen retired Javed Nasir,a former chief of the ISI,to an International Tribunal investigating war crimes in Bosnia,The Express Tribune reported Tuesday. Nasir allegedly supported Bosnian Muslims fighting the Serbian army in the 1990s despite a UN embargo.

US lifts ban on gays serving in military

WASHINGTON: The US military Tuesday lifted a ban on gays openly serving in the armed services,ending an 18-year-old Dont Ask Dont Tell practice. We are prepared for repeal, a Pentagon spokesman said.
