Tea party favourite Ron Paul running in 2012
AUSTIN TEXAS: US Congressman Ron Paul,a favourite among the ultraconservative tea party movement,announced on Friday that he will run for the Republican nomination for president in 2012. Though there is not yet a clear favourite among the Republicans looking to challenge Democratic President Barack Obama next year,Paul is considered too unconventional to have a much of a chance at the nomination.

I am seeking a two-year extension for FBI Director Bob Mueller. And in his 10 years at the FBI,Bob has set the gold standard for leading the Bureau, Obama said.
Mom injects daughter,8,with Botox
SAN FRANCISCO: San Francisco authorities are investigating a mother who said on a national television program that she gives her 8-year-old daughter Botox injections. Trent Rhorer with the citys Human Services Agency tells KGO-TV that officials need to sit down and talk with Kerry Campbell and her daughter,Britney.
Campbell appeared with her daughter Thursday on ABC television. She enrolls Britney in beauty pageants.
Man beheads woman in Spain supermarket
MADRID: A British woman visiting a supermarket on the Spanish resort island of Tenerife was decapitated on Friday by a man who then ran out of the store holding her head,the local emergency services said. The mayor of the town of Arona,quoted by Spanish media,said the man,who was arrested as he tried to escape,was a 28-year-old Bulgarian with a history of mental illness. The victim as a woman in her 60s had no known relationship with her attacker.
Supporter of Manning suing US govt
BOSTON: An outspoken advocate for an Army private accused of funneling classified documents to WikiLeaks plans to file suit Friday,claiming federal agents illegally seized confidential information from him at a Chicago airport. David House,a founding member of the The Bradley Manning Support Network,had his laptop,a thumb drive and video camera taken in November after two Department of Homeland Security agents detained and questioned him about WikiLeaks and his association with Manning,according to the suit. The items allegedly werent returned for seven weeks. Houses personal information as well documents related to Manning were copied.
