New Delhi: Canara Bank has lowered fixed deposit rates by up to 1 per cent on select maturities. The bank has slashed the interest rate by 1 per cent on maturities of 61-90 days to 7.75 per cent from 8.75 per cent earlier. PTI

ONGC to appeal against HC order
New Delhi: State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp ONGC on Tuesday said it will appeal against the Gujarat High Court order asking it to pay up to Rs 10,000 crore in past royalty dues,saying it cannot pay the levy on a price it hasnt realised. PTI
