Sensex falls 86 points to two-week low

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex fell for the second day today to a 2-week low of 18,432.25,down 85.97 points. The broad-based NSE 50-issue Nifty also declined further by 28.05 points or 0.50 per cent to 5,546.80.

Vodafone,Idea increase pre-paid tariff by 20

New Delhi: Vodafone Essar and Idea Cellular,are understood to have increased pre-paid tariffs by up to 20 per cent. According to industry sources,the tariffs were increased few days ago. When contacted Vodafone spokesperson declined to comment saying,We do not comment on tariff issues.

AreclorMittal Q2 net income dips 10

Luxembourg: ArcelorMittal on Wednesday reported a 10 per cent dip in net income for the second quarter ended June 30,2011,to 1.535 billion. The company reported a net income of 1.706 billion for the corresponding quarter last year.
