Ballotin:Star power is about being in power

Not being in power in any state reflects on a partys list of star campaigners. Recognised political parties can submit up to 40 names,registered but unrecognised ones only 20. In Madhya Pradesh,the BJP had no problem submitting its list of 40 but smaller parties such as the JD S and the Rashtriya Samanata Dal struggled to reach their limit,submitting two and 10 names respectively. Even the NCP,which has no presence in the bipolar state,managed to submit 40 names.
