Another pilot arrested

The Delhi Police on Wednesday made one more arrest in the fake marksheet scam involving pilots. Captain Meenakshi Singhal,who had obtained an Airlines Transport Pilot Licence after fudging marksheets is the eighth pilot to be arrested in the racket.

Singhal,who had already sought anticipatory bail from the court,was formally arrested on Wednesday and subsequently released on bail.

Singhal had reportedly fudged the marksheets of Air Navigation and Radio Aids amp; Instruments on the basis of which one obtains the licence. She is a friend of Captain Parminder Kaur Gulati,who was the first pilot to be arrested in the racket.
