Gujarat Confidential: A surprise guest

At a music event featuring legendary percussionist Trilok Gurtu in Ahmedabad Sunday, a surprise guest was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother Prahlad Modi. Praising the opening artist Ayaz Khan Kalavant, he said how Indian culture embedded in sanatan dharma was not “above music, whatever samaaj they belonged to”. He lauded the likes of Kalavant for making the audience ‘swing’ to his fingers. Hosted by Thinkink Picturez ltd at Shreyas foundation, the guests also included Karni Sena chief Raj Shekhawat.
