Andhra engineering student killed by senior

After killing the girl,identified as Divya,the accused sent messages to his friends about the incident,stating that he was going to end his life,the police said.

He also sent a SMS to another youth,with whom Divya was apparently involved,telling him that he had killed his lover. Divya was a fourth-year student of computer science at Vignan Engineering College.

The police suspect that strained relations between Divya and Sekhar might be the reason behind the mursder. The accused is at large and the police said efforts were on to trace him.
