Airbus gets 7.2 bn order from GoAir

Airbus has received an order worth 7.2 billion for 72 planes from GoAir,the latest in a series of Indian carriers scrambling to meet growing demand in Asia8217;s third-largest economy.

The order for A320 planes brings GoAir8217;s total order book with Airbus to 9.6 billion,Managing Director Jeh Wadia said on Thursday.

The new orders will be delivered over the next five to seven years,Wadia said.
