Air Marshal Joshi appointed DGAFMS

Air Marshal D P Joshi has been appointed as Director General of the Armed Forces Medical Services DGAFMS,the highest posting in the medical services of the three armed forces. The officer,a graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College,Pune,has served in the military for the past 38 years and was holding the appointment of Director General Medical Services Air at present.

The officer has held several important appointments in the medical services,has also been awarded the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and has also been appointed as the Presidents Honorary Surgeon.
