Chennai: A five-year old girl who went missing from Marina Beach here on May 11 during a family outing remained untraced on Tuesday despite city polices efforts to locate her. Tamanna,daughter of Syed Noor Ahmed,went missing from the beach on May 11 where she had gone with her twin brother,mother and grandmother,police said. Her brother Rihan lost her as he came back for money.

Mother hurls self,child before train
BANGALORE: A 35 year-old woman and her one and a half year-old daughter were found dead on Tuesday after the mother allegedly threw herself with her child before a train near Byappanahalli railway police station limits,police said. Adding that the deceased may have been daily wagerers from Orissa,police said it was difficult to establish identity as their bodies were mutilated.
