Watching her back

There have been no major headaches for Pratibha Patil after becoming the President of India. She does, however, appear to have developed a nagging backache. Her staff now carries a small cushion for her when she has to attend public functions. Patil generally uses the cushion while sitting on chairs. And her ADC keeps a close watch on any signal that she wants the cushion to be removed.
