
CHANDIGARH, June 17: The UT Administration today ordered the transfer of six DSPs of the Chandigarh Police.
Their transfer orders were issued by UT Home Secretary N.K. Jain here today. Sources say the transfers are routine and had been recommended by Inspector General of Police S.K. Singh.
Among the orders issued today include those of S.S. Randhawa, who is shifted from DSP Airport Security to DSP Traffic and S.C. Abrol who goes from DSP Lines to DSP Detective, with additional charge of DSP Security. Surjit Singh is shifted from DSP Detective to DSP Police Lines and Home Guards and Jaspal Singh has been shifted from DSP Headquarters to DSP Operations Cell.
While B.D. Bector gets the additional charge of DSP Airport Security in addition to his present duties as DSP South, Daya Nand also gets the additional charge of DSP PCR, in addition to his present duties as DSP Crime.
